“Every girl should realize this”“We guys don’t care if you talk to other guys. We don’t care if you’re friends with other guys. But when you’re sitting next to us, and some random guy walks into the room and you jump up and tackle him, without even introducing us, yeah, it pisses us off. It doesn’t help if you sit there and talk to him for ten minutes without even acknowledging the fact that we’re still there. (Source: nathanpersuasion) |
The make upWhen my significant and I fight… and minutes pass by that feel like hours, the first thing that goes through my mind is “why did we just fight, what’s the point in fighting, don’t we love each other so much that we can make it? I made a huge mistake.” Then I decide of ways on how to talk to my significant other, pacing back and forward in my room. I finally call and in hopes that they’ll pick of the phone. They answer the phone, but immediately I start talking.. making them listen to me as I apologize and plead for that persons forgiveness, in hopes to make things right. I would talk for about an hour or two before I would let that person speak. I say everything that’s on the top of my head or I just let everything out. I want that person to know how sincerely sorry I am, to know that I can’t go a few more hours being mad at each other. Then they finally get a chance to speak. I hear them out. They try to apologize, when clearly, it was my fault. Things finally get better as we talk it all out. We realize that it was just one fight that we can go through and that there will be many more, hopefully not as bad, but there will be more along the way. As things start to settle and become more mellow, we stay on the phone for hours, even when it’s clearly late and people are sleeping. The make up stage to me has to be one of most intense stages in a relationship because at any moment, it can just stop.. so you do your best and your all to make it work out and to make it happen.
